It all started in 2005 with a transformation story. Daniel—the one who started it all—had an unhealthy relationship with food. He feels out of control with sugar! Something has to change. Eliminating candy from his life was a lonely and sad existence...Neil ate, prayed, loved, and enjoyed every moment. Tired of the lackluster candy section in supermarkets, he traveled the world in search of something better. That was until he was inspired in 2018 to return home and start making his own delicious candies in the kitchen, without added sugar or sugar alcohols. It’s been a year of sweet experimentation. Daniel experimented with different recipes, ingredients and production methods - trying to find the perfect recipe for his dessert. After hundreds of attempts to perfect the recipe and the help of some of Australia's top food scientists, nutritionists and chefs, 2020 FUNDAY was born.
