If your order includes backordered items, we will ship all items together once the complete order is ready. Should you prefer to split the shipment, please contact us with your order details.

Backordered

"All ECFOOD products are additive-free, resulting in a naturally shorter shelf life. To ensure maximum freshness and quality, we offer a Deferred Shipping option.

If an item is temporarily out of stock, a 'Backorder' icon will be displayed on the product page. Upon receiving your order, we will immediately arrange direct air freight from the country of origin and dispatch your items within 2-3 weeks. A shipping confirmation email will be sent once your order is on its way."

Shipping & Delivery

Once you successfully place an order, we’ll send a confirmation email with your order details and chosen pickup/delivery method. You can also check your real-time order status anytime: simply go to Account > Login > Track Order and enter your order number."

Self-Pickup Process

Pickup Information

Your order will be ready for pickup within 2 working days. We will notify you via email as soon as it’s ready. Please collect your items within 7 working days during our store operating hours.

When arriving at the store, please have your order number ready to show our staff. Should you need extra time to collect your order, we will reach out via email or phone to assist with rescheduling.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, ECFOOD is reducing the use of plastic bags. We kindly encourage you to bring your own reusable bags when collecting your items.

Standard Shipping

If you choose our delivery service, a notification email containing your tracking number will be sent to you as soon as your order is ready. You can track your package by entering this tracking number either on our website or directly on the courier's website.

Standard deliveries are usually handled by SF Express, but we may use other couriers depending on the situation. If you need to change your delivery details after confirming your order, please reach out to us on the same day you placed it. Please be aware that any rescheduling or modifications may lead to extra charges from the courier or our shop, depending on the actual costs incurred

If the delivery address is in a remote area or requires walk-up stair delivery, the logistics company or our in-house drivers may levy a surcharge. This fee shall be borne by the customer, subject to the final discretion of the logistics company (an additional surcharge of HK$10 may apply to certain remote areas)

Temperature-Controlled Food Delivery

Likewise, standard orders are generally handled by SF Express Cold Chain. However, temperature-controlled delivery may unavailable for remote locations, outlying islands, and restricted areas. Please download the SFHK App to stay updated on your delivery and check your parcel status

Cross-Border Arrangements

Shipping rates for the Greater Bay Area and overseas regions depend on the weight or volume of your order—please reach out to us to get quotes from individual couriers. Before placing an order, customers must independently check and confirm the destination's current food import restrictions, customs regulations, and clearance requirements. Shipping risks for cross-border orders are strictly at the customer's own risk; this includes, but is not limited to, customs delays, confiscation, loss, damage, and any related taxes or surcharges. Please note that if delivery is delayed by third-party shipping issues, customs processing, or other transit factors, the quality of certain food items may be compromised."

Return & Exchange Policy


If you find any discrepancy or error upon delivery, please notify us within 2 days. We will do our utmost to arrange a replacement for you. The entire process generally takes 7 working days from the date ECFOOD receives the returned item(s)."

Please note that unauthorized returns will not be handled. No returns or exchanges will be accepted if the goods are returned incomplete, damaged, with a compromised safety seal, or if they are unfit for resale

If you need to cancel, change, or request a return, feel free to reach out to us by email, WhatsApp, or phone. Our team will get back to you and handle it as quickly as possible during business hours.

Important Notes

Deliveries by third-party couriers may be delayed during public holidays, bad weather, major promotional events, or peak shipping seasons.

In the event of Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, a Black Rainstorm Warning, or other severe weather, delivery services may be delayed or paused. Final arrangements will be based on updates in the ECFOOD WhatsApp Community or direct notifications from customer service.

Please note that specific delivery dates and times cannot be requested; all shipments follow the courier’s daily routing. The logistics company or driver may call or message the recipient before arrival, depending on their standard procedures. Should a delivery fail due to incorrect/incomplete details, an unreachable recipient, or other factors outside our control, the customer will be responsible for any additional freight, redelivery, and administrative fees. If two delivery attempts are made unsuccessfully, or if the recipient does not respond within the required period, the parcel may be returned to ECFOOD. Under these circumstances, original shipping fees are non-refundable, and ECFOOD reserves the right to apply extra admin and redelivery charges without further notice.
