Established since 2018, we initially select worldwide healthy snacks to satisfy your cravings without compromising good health. Later we develop our own ECfood product line which covers a variety of nuts, sauces, gelato etc., provides gluten-free, vegetarian, ketogenic and other dietary options.


Hong Kong people are famous for our hardwork: long working hours, rushing, high stress and other common problems have a long-term impact on our health and quality of life. Most of time food are prepared in advance, high in salt and heavy in taste. local freshness in rare and food becomes dull due to long-distance transportation from other regions. To end all these, ECFOOD is committed to source additive-free and/or vegan food, we work with local chefs to design both good-looking and delicious snacks suitable for Hong Kong people, provide more nutrients and cultivate healthy bodies. ECFOOD is a brand owned by Earn Creative

Founder Elva is a born-and-bred Hong Konger who has lived across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories, fostering a lifelong bond with the city. Having built her early career in the plastics industry, the 2019 pandemic inspired her to pivot toward entrepreneurship as a way to give back to her home.

In 2018, Elva established Earn Creative to advocate for sustainability and wellness through a creative lens. Following the pandemic, she launched two distinct brands: ECretro and ECFOOD.

ECretro, the company's flagship brand, offers eco-friendly small appliances inspired by the retro aesthetics of the 60s and 70s, prioritizing compact, multifunctional, and user-friendly designs. Complementing this is ECFOOD, which promotes healthy living through a curated selection of wholesome snacks sourced locally and from around the world.

The Business Idea

Witnessing Hong Kong’s rapid transformation over the past few decades, Elva noticed a culture increasingly driven by efficiency and convenience—a fast-paced lifestyle that brought a surge in disposable products. As the city’s natural beauty began to fade, Elva, fueled by a deep love for her home and a desire to preserve it, founded Earn Creative in 2018 to do her part for the environment.

Initially dedicated to raising eco-awareness, the brand found a new calling when the pandemic hit. With everyone confined to their homes, reliance on takeout soared—even within Elva’s own family. This sparked an epiphany: under the ECretro brand, she began developing eco-friendly, multifunctional small kitchen appliances, empowering urban dwellers to easily prepare healthy, home-cooked meals even in compact living spaces.

As her focus shifted toward wellness, Elva uncovered a startling reality: in Hong Kong, one in five people suffers from diabetes, and another one in five struggles with eczema—conditions that hit close to home within her own family. Determined to find a solution, she immersed herself in holistic nutrition, exploring gluten-free, vegan, and ketogenic lifestyles. This culinary journey culminated in 2020 with the launch of ECFOOD. By sourcing clean ingredients and collaborating with local chefs, ECFOOD was born to craft all-natural, additive-free products made specially for Hong Kong.

Our Vision

Our vision is simple: to promote healthy eating, highlight the benefits of dietary therapies, and inspire people to show love to those who matter most through the sharing of food. Food is more than just sustenance; it is a bridge to connect, an expression of love, and a way to nourish everyone around us.

Over the years, we have brought this vision to life by joining seasonal markets, participating in local events, and connecting with the public through digital platforms like YouTube, Facebook, IG, Threads, online communities, and blogs.

We are deeply committed to engaging with our community and are incredibly grateful for your unwavering support. Looking ahead, our goal this year is to develop more delicious, healthy, and locally crafted products. For instance, we plan to introduce more flavors for our signature EC Gelato and expand our chocolate selection—offering more delightful choices for our ECfamily and helping you craft your own nutritious meal plans.

As we move forward, we stay true to our core values: quality, care, and supporting local. We will keep innovating, listening to the voices of our ECfamily, and finding new ways to create a positive impact. Together, we can build a healthier and happier Hong Kong—one day, and one meal, at a time.
